Happy Birthday, Kaitlyn!

We had a busy weekend here in Georgia! On Saturday, we ran a ton of errands and bought some plants for sprucing up the yard. James and I planted azalea bushes along the back ridge. Now, it just needs some fresh mulch. I also got a creeping phlox and some new strawberry plants for my poor lonely strawberry pot. It looks much better with green plants instead of black ones.

On Sunday, we had a birthday party for Kaitlyn with some friends from church. I was originally going to have it here, but when I asked our friend if she wanted to do a joint party since her son's birthday is the 25th, she not only said yes, but she offered to have it at her house instead. It worked out better that way I'm sure because I'm comfortable with one or two families. This was several families (with lots of kids) plus random Cub Scouts. We had a good time, and the weather was absolutely perfect.
