Felicity's birthday and Cancer Update 2
Our beautiful, sweet little girl turned 2 on Friday. James made her a doggie cake on Saturday, and we got some really great videos of her blowing out her trick candles and just being cute. Unfortunately, the one I really want to upload seems to be too big. Maybe we can find a way to reduce the resolution a bit.
We're going to go out next weekend with Jason and Laura for Laura's and Felicity's birthdays, and we'll probably throw Kait's in there too since it'll be coming up shortly.
James visited his doctor this morning, and it's not all good news. The actual scan came back clean, but it's not as sensitive as blood work, and there's a number that's supposed to be zero if you have no thyroid and no thyroid cells in your body. James's has never been zero, and now it's increased 10%. They're going to do a CT scan and an ultrasound later this month. Eventually, he might have to have another ablation. I'm not sure what needing a second ablation so soon would mean for long-term prognosis, but it sure doesn't give me any warm fuzzies.

Felicity is too cute.
I don't really understand what all that stuff with James means ... what's an ablation?
Is this the procedure that would make you and the three kids have to not be around him for months at a time like before?
