Garden update

I have 2 out of 6 watermelon seedlings up now. There are 2 Brussels sprout seedlings and probably 10-12 zinnia sprouts. The peas are doing squat, and I'm wondering if the seeds were too old since they were supposed to have the fastest germination of everything I planted. Maybe I'll replant with a different seed packet in a few days. There are several radish shoots up but nothing in the green onion area yet. I should know better than to try green onions from seed again - they never turn out well and are usually super tiny. But I was trying not to buy anything new this year (except dirt) so I'm using seeds from previous years. I have two gallon Ziploc bags full!

The bulbs are up another inch or so, but I've seen naturalized jonquils blooming already in the wooded areas on the edge of the roads around here. I'm eagerly anticipating some color in the back yard so I hope they eventually bloom! My tulips last year were in a bad place without the proper amount of sun (or at least that was my theory), and while the greens, came up, they never produced flowers.
