I really just don't know what to say here lately. There are things I could talk about, but they seem kind of boring. I was planning on taking a picture of the fruit and vegetable posters Jeremy made. We listed the vitamins and nutrients found in each fruit and vegetable. We discovered why broccoli and spinach are so good for you!
Then there's the cat we seem to have adopted. Kaitlyn is allergic to cats so she'll never be able to be our "real" cat, but she comes to visit us several times a day outside. James bought a food dish, and we give her food sometimes. We worry about her since it's been so cold and windy at night, but she seems to survive ok. And she survived without us feeding her for at least a few months so I guess she must be able to take care of herself. Her name is Brownie according to the tag on her collar. And yes, I've called the number. It's been disconnected.
Then there's the fact that I am FREEZING. I do seem to remember this strange symptom of pregnancy from previous gestations. Before I actually start to look pregnant (at which point I usually am hot), I am very cold. But this time it seems extreme. I've been wearing three layers around the house for weeks. My hands are constantly like ice. It seems like it started before I even suspected I was pregnant. We were puzzling as to why I would be so horribly cold when I'm usually one of the most hot-blooded people in the house. (I think Jeremy is worse than I am. He's always hot.) Alas, I suppose it will wear off just in time for a lovely, sweltering Georgia summer.
I am also pondering what to do with poor Lissy, who will be ousted from her spot as baby of the family come October. She'll need to wean (yes, I'm still breastfeeding), change rooms, move to a twin bed, and possibly get rid of her binkie. And instead of sleeping better lately, she's been much worse. That worries me for when she'll be sleeping in Kait's room! I would like to move the crib into Kait's room first and then change beds later, but I don't think James is up for taking the crib apart twice within six months. Maybe I'll have to do it myself. Or come up with a different plan.
Anyway, we went to Mass this morning so we're still in the nitty gritty of the school day. Off to work!

Buy another crib? You can always find nice used cribs around ... and then you won't have to shake up F more than necessary.
If F isn't ready to wean by October ... well, its time anyway. Isn't it?
You and I have such different thoughts on everything. How are we still friends!? God put us together I guess. LOL!
I was thinking about buying another crib. Hmm. And it IS possible to tandem nurse, but I can't say that's something I want to do. We're working on it. It's hard when it's something that's been so relaxing and that we both enjoy. There's been no reason to stop.
