Garden Update
Most of the seeds I've planted have been a bust so far. I have one watermelon seedling out of six seeds planted. No jalapenos came up. I do have a couple of brussels sprouts seedlings and seven or eight zinnias. Everything else is dead or never even sprouted.
The jonquils are blooming as are the grape hyacinths. The tulips are just coming up behind them. They bring some much-needed color to a big empty landscaping plot. I've been waiting for deals on bushes and such so it's probably going to take me another couple of years to get that back section how I want it. The blueberry bush back there is growing much more slowly than I expected. It doesn't help that it keeps getting broken and stomped on by children! I actually don't see any buds on it yet (the other one DOES have buds) so maybe it's already a goner.
