Today was a busy day. We had school, of course, and then Kait had a piano lesson at 3. (Side note: piano teacher said she has the ability to be a great pianist and/or a great vocalist. I already knew that, but it was nice to hear.) After piano, we went to the library, and then we went to children's choir at 5. I brought the Incredible Bulk (one nickname for our beloved second daughter) some snacks along as she was sure to be hungry. Choir is during our normal dinner time. We had pretzels (already gone by the time we hit the library), carrots, celery, a tangerine, and some yogurt with berries. Incredible Bulk munched through about 4 pieces of celery and 2 baby carrots. She then spotted the yogurt. This was by far her favorite thing in the bag so she pulled it out and said, "Pees!" I hadn't brought a spoon, but I thought that would be ok because there are usually plastic spoons in the church kitchen. This time, however, the kitchen was locked. I put my Macgyver hat on to try to figure out what I could use as a spoon while IB was starting to get frantic in her yogurt-lust. Then the idea hit me. And Lissy gobbled up her yogurt and berries from the end of a ... stalk of celery. MMMMMM!

The Incredible Bulk!? I love it.
Congrats to Kait on her potential to be a musician. You've always said she was the creative genius in the family ...
That must be why I connected to her on such a gut level. Or maybe it was that I just fell in love with her as an infant and never looked back? :)
Can't wait to meet Felicity.
