I've decided to start Korean lessons again in earnest. Concerning the kids, it's something that weighs on me pretty heavily, although I'm not sure why it's left to me when I obviously am lacking myself. It's the legally blind leading the completely blind! So, I am doing one Rosetta Stone lesson a day and one online Korean TV lesson a day. The kids are doing one Rosetta a day too. There are some materials I wanted to buy for them, but sheesh, that stuff adds up. If anyone would ever tell me where to go locally to look for workbooks and/or videos, I would do that instead, but no one seems to want to help me out - they just expect the kids to learn Korean spontaneously?? We are looking into an HD TV antenna because there are supposedly two locally broadcast Korean TV stations. I think that would help - especially if there are kids' shows.

School has been going wonderfully for the most part. We have hit a bit of a slump in which everyone wants to do their own thing rather than do school. Duh. But we're getting past it, and I'm actually just amazed that Jeremy has made such a jump without a major upset. Last year, he sporadically did three subjects no more than three times a week. This year, he's got more like 6 or 7, and we do it every day. He's handled it well. Kaitlyn, as always, is a bright little girl. But she definitely feels entitled to her own projects randomly interjected into our day.

Felicity, for her part, seems to want to start school too. She is constantly pulling out old math books and flipping through the pages. There's a handwriting book she seems to like too. And yesterday, she wanted Kait's backpack on multiple times. She was so pleased with herself when it was on!
