Yes, we are indeed getting rain from Fay. Thanks be to God! I think we've had 3 or so inches so far, and they think we'll get at least one more. So, it won't cure the drought, but it should help.

On a whim last night, I cut Felicity's bangs. Eek! She won't keep her hair bands in, and I get sick of seeing her pushing hair out of her face. I regretted it immediately though! It was just starting to get long enough to stay out of the way a little more.

It's been five or so years since I last had to cut bangs, and it shows. I made them too short. They weren't even wet when I cut them, but I pulled them down too far with the comb. They're naturally brushing over to the side right now thanks to her natural side part. Here's a before picture with her dad and two after ones. Ok, I can't seem to get these in the right order, but I have got to get school going so I must give up!
