The Aquarium!




A few weeks back, my roommate from college came to visit with her two sweet kidlets, and we made an excursion to the aquarium here in Atlanta. They've been pumping this place up ever since I moved here, talking about how it's the largest aquarium and how wonderful it is. Well, it was ok. The kids loved it, but my friend and I took note that there were no dolphins (coming in 2010), no penguins, no polar bears, no seals, and the only whales were the ugly Beluga. Alas, it was still a really fun day! They had a few touching ponds where the kids could touch some of the animals gently. They touched manta rays and Jeremy managed to touch the fin of a small bonnet-head shark. He thought that was pretty cool.
