Happy birthday to me! I was a little bummed because we couldn't really do anything (i.e. go to dinner) for my birthday since James is on his special low-iodine diet in prep for his radiation treatment. I ended up making our meals all day. But Jason and Laura joined us for dinner. They brought a cake and a present! And practically everyone I know called and wished me a happy birthday so it ended up being a nice day. Still weird to be away from everyone though!
So, we seem to be having the worst luck the last couple of months. We had to replace the battery in the car last week. Plus, the brakes needed to be replaced, and now, when I went out to get in the van today, it wouldn't start. Kait went out last night to check for binoculars we thought she left in the van. I suspect that she didn't get the door shut completely. Bummer.

On an up-note, my ultrasound is tomorrow afternoon. It was supposed to be at 10, but I guess the midwife I was going to see can't make it tomorrow. So, they rescheduled me with one of the doctors at 1:15. I can't wait to see this little one! I sure hope everything checks out ok on the ultrasound. Will update you all as soon as possible.
