The end is in sight
I've finally put an end date on the babysitting. I will only be having Zoey (from that family anyway) for the month of June, after school is out. The older two will be going to stay with their grandma. And the goal is to be completely done with her and with the little boy from the other family by the end of June as I'm planning a trip to Illinois in the first half of July. I feel relief and sadness at the same time. I know that Felicity will really miss having Zoey here - even though they fight 60% of the time! Whenever Zoe isn't here for a week, Liss asks for her all week long and is happy to get her playmate back eventually. The real sadness though is that the whole family may be leaving us soon as their future location is up in the air right now. The girls might not even remember each other after all they've been through. I took this picture of them today, and it reminded me of a picture that used to be up in my Aunt Jo's house. It had two little boys with no shirts and overalls, and they were talking about the weather or farming or something related to those things. I always liked that picture, but I figured it was some relatively common print. However, I couldn't find it on the internet. I had hoped to compare it to the one of the girls. Oh well!

I know exactly which photo you're talking about ... Heath had it in his bedroom when we lived at home!
I'm glad you can see the light at the end of the tunnel. And i'm sorry that you're losing the little boy that you love!
