Apathetic

That's how I feel. With school and extra kids, there's a lot going on here. I find that in my spare time, I tend to just hole up and really rock my introvertedness. I need that time by myself to recharge my batteries for another day.

Over thanksgiving, we took a trip down to Florida to visit my in-laws. We only tend to see them once a year so it was really nice to be able to spend some time with them. James and his brother spent much of the time fixing things around the greenhouses and messing with some Dirt Quads they had gotten for the kids. The food was good - and plentiful! However, the morning we were to leave, I woke up with a big lump in my stomach. I ended up being sick for the trip home. That's always fun when dealing with Thanksgiving traffic jams! But we made it through.

Now begins the race to get all the Christmas stuff done in the next few weeks because I, of course, procrastinated until now on all the projects I wanted to do. I can't say what I'm working on because some of you will be getting them as presents!

We've finally had some cold-ish weather down here in Georgia, and I'm starting to get in the mood for Christmas. I haven't decorated as I like to do it closer to Christmas and keep it up through the Epiphany, but it's starting to seem like I'm the only one!
