Felicity

It seems like there have been a lot of changes for this little (big?) girl lately! She has finally weaned. Yeah, yeah, I know, I know...but now at 2.5 years old, she's done nursing. She did ask this morning, but it's getting easier to distract. It's been nice to let the nursing relationship take it's own course instead of having it cut off by college courses or going back to work.
She's also been potty training for the last few weeks. We still have some wet pants here and there, but overall, she's doing great. My other kids were near 3 when they trained.

We went in for her 2-year check up last week. Yeah, I know, I'm several months late. Her height and head circumference were still 75-80th percentile, but her weight was off the charts. So, they politely encouraged me to give her less food while saying they would NEVER say to put a child this young on a diet! Isn't giving her less food or switching out some foods for lower-fat foods a diet?? Right now it looks like the biggest offense was milk. She should only be getting 2 cups a day, and she was drinking way more than that. We'll cut back on that and see where it gets us.

She just loves this umbrella, and it sent so well with her cute little top, I had to get pictures. I could just eat her up!

Cutting back on milk will be easy, but I wouldn't do anything else ... she's not fat, she's just solid!!!

And she's beautiful too. Didn't want to forget to mention that.

Hey ... how's Brownie?
